The Town of Cary vacuums loose leaf piles from the curb in town-wide sweeps through the winter, and its leaf map at carync.gov/leaves shows where crews are. Last season the town made three sweeps from November into January. After the season ends, leaves can still go out in brown paper bags or reusable containers with weekly yard waste.
If you prefer, we haul leaves away on the visit. Or we can move them into a clean curb pile, kept off the street and away from storm drains, to be ready for the town's next sweep.
